You can get pallets for free? I figured you’d have to pay for em. Where?
Oh my, normalize the audio. First quiet then loud.
Genius carpentry 🙂
Yeah, youtube messes with audio sometimes. Thanks for watching.
Most businesses have them next to the dumpster. Industrial complexes are the best.
I’ve got you “pegged” as a master carpenter 🙂
no problem.. thank you for the video.
Sweet! Nice choice of materials. The Benny Hill effect is great for show a lot of footage in a short period of time.
Yes, Benny Hill is always a classic choice.
I really shouldn’t have watched this. Now my wife wants me to build her one.
🙂
I wonder if you’re so used to doing what you do, that you don’t realize the level of skill you actually have. Or maybe it’s knowledge – I don’t have either so I can’t say for sure, but cutting those angles for the joints seems like nothing for you. For me, it would be all day and scratching my head till my hair falls out! Good job.
Thanks for the compliment. I guess a lot of practice and mistakes make it easier.
I missed the part where you put a barrier between the Concrete and the Floor Joists.
That is a MUST.
This is fantastic. So great. Good filming too. Well done mate. Giving me ideas and hope!
Great job, 65, did you mention how you took apart your pallets? I thought I saw that you just used a saws-all to cut them apart. That’s the biggest part of the job, right? Proud of you! Good Going!
@Ken Johnston Thanks. Yeah, I just used a sawsall to cut the nails. I really like the look of rusty nail heads and contrary to others you can not remove the slats with a Pallet Pal, hammer, prybar or other means without ruining boards. The ends of all the boards will split on 95% of all pallets made. Very few pallets have unglued or non spiral shank nails. The first couple I did by hand an it took over an hour to remove slats. The sawsall took the time to 30 minutes without any broken slats and you can easily pop the heads out. Towards the end I got the time down to 15minutes a pallet.
Thanks 65 for your reply! I’ll watch your video(s) again! Thanks!
great video 65, you are not only an ingenious person, but a very skilled craftsman with multiple talents. Thanks for sharing
I like it. I enjoy the way you build your shed. You build just like my father. A true craftsman.
+Lyndon Yamane Thank you.
Nice work. That shed is going to last a long, long, time
his is quite a bit like Japanese wood carpentry
