I was born and raised 20 minutes from Boston, MA. At the age of 17, I was diagnosed with Anxiety. My personal experience with the prescribed medication was NOT POSITIVE. So I decided to find better way. I didn't know it at the time but, that was the BEGINNING for me! I have been “FINDING A BETTER WAY” in all areas in my life ever since. Better ways of how to create a modern homestead affordably, and a better way to provide my family with healthy foods, and so….. much MORE!
At Lumnah Acres we hope our experiences can help guide you to find YOUR BETTER WAY! Please join us in sharing our journey with you, let us be a guide to Modern Homesteading, Self-Sufficiency, and FREEDOM for you!

Figaro will have a new place to explore. Our cat loves to explore our woodshed. You all have done a great job. Congratulations.
I’m sure he’ll find plenty of mice in there too
@Lumnah Acres If you ever get a bad mouse problem may I suggest getting some brother cats that get along and have the bloodlust? My grandmother lived in a very rural setting that got bad mice and eventually there came to be quite a number of cats over the decades but I never saw any mice due to many years of a team of cats eradicating the smaller wildlife around the acreage. They weren’t as friendly as Figaro though.
Good morning . Gina looked so cute with that hoodie on in the begining . Nice to see her talking to the camera . That rock wall looks pretty good . Nice touch Gina . Kind of sad that your building projects are done . I looked forward to the barn build and shed build . Great job Gina and Al . Can’t forget Olivia . She did her part in the builds .
The barn is not done yet
Lookin good bro! You two make an awesome team – that wood shed will last generations!
It’ll make a hundred for sure.
How nice is it that your truck comes with ready to go cup holders in the tailgate. lol
My 03 Dodge has them useless cup holders on my tail gate as well. Soon as you rock or get in or up in the truck bed the drink will tip over. I honestly use the cup holders for screws when Im building something off my tailgate on the job site.
So I’m hooked on your videos but the only problem is now, while I’m working through my daily tasks, I find myself saying things like ‘nice’, ‘l like it’, and ‘holy moly’! Great job guys and thanks for the inspiration!
I keep catching myself saying “I like it” too. I definitely know where it comes from. :@)
COOL BEANS
lollie gordon: i like “cool beans” too!
Don’t forget to get New Yolk City parked where you want it for the winter!
Maybe he can make a covered area so the chickens can scratch in the dirt even with snow around them.
@Recovering Soul he uses the green house some times but also does deep bedding hun have a great day/night from Ontario Canada
Gina gets extra credit moving all that firewood by herself.
DW B she should get dinner at a nice restaurant!
Dang it girl! Hauling logs, Building rock walls. Good Work!
Good job Gina packing in all that wood. Like Al says “I Like it”.
Still waiting for the t shirt Lumnah Acrea “I Like It” 😉
Wouldn’t it be better to stack that lumber from front to back with space in between for access??????
Need more egg laying chicken; because all the kids watching you, will only be able to count to 16.
Hahaha!!
How many egg layers does he have? It’s hard to guess without knowing. One day he got 18 eggs but counted wrong. Or edited wrong.
Did anyone count the number of times Al said “Oops”? It was more than any previous video I think.
Ok Al, when you gonna make a t-shirt with
“Lumnah Acres
I Like It”
?
yup! this will be a No 1 seller for sure!
Wow,Girl! You are ON IT with the firewood! ❤️
Gina, I love the rocks… Beautiful touch!
The woodshed looks spectacular! Love Gina’s stone wall.
